Nothing Was The Same, is no less than perfect to his legions of fans. The bling slinging Toronto native released the album in September, already preceded by four successful singles, and several promotional chorales. An assured standout track on the record is the bass booming “All Me” featuring Big Sean and 2 Chainz. The song is five and a half minutes, opening with moaning samples and regal high hats and drums. Drake bounces along the beat with his rhymes, then melts into the hook. He sings “Came up, that’s all me /Stay true that’s all me/ No help that’s all me, all me forreal”. Following him is 2 Chainz and Big Sean delivering memorable performances, that build the song up into the perfect turn up anthem.
